Almost all of our fabrics and materials are up-cycled or vintage. Gathering scraps anywhere from former jobs in production rooms, from fellow designers’, or from FABSCRAP, Logan Blagg is dedicated to using existing industry excess before buying new.
However, some fabrics leftover from early career form a collection of first-life, organic and natural material base. These include organic cottons, linen, hemp/silk blends, and swatches of all above!
PROCESS
Logan makes all clothing and jewelry in house. Draping on the form helps utilize smaller scraps while emphasizing fluid lines.
Collaging scraps to create one larger moment highlights the other-wordly magic that has inspired all pieces.
CARE
Appropriately caring for your garments can extend their life and keep waste from landfills. Due to the nature of our materials, we recommend hand washing most of our clothes. Using cold water for the hand wash process is both better for the environment and for the clothes!
Other natural ways to care include:
Hang dry
Dry clean with only certified environmentally-friendly dry cleaner
Don’t wash after every use; wait until absolute necessary to clean
